Fundamentals Class Details
Our 1-day Fundamentals course teaches you the basics of proper cycling position and bike fitting. Great for cycling retail staff, cycling/triathlon coaches, spin coaches, physical therapists and cyclists. No prerequisites are required for this course and it is open to all individuals.

What you’ll learn: - view sample schedule

  • Functional anatomy for cyclists – the musculoskeletal structures associated with power production, postural control and bike control
  • Basic cycling biomechanics – the movements and forces produced by the lower extremity during cycling
  • Overview of the bike fitting process – interview, assessment, fit and evaluation
  • Fit-related complaints and injuries – the common complaints and/or injuries that are associated with an improper bike fit
